About Descendants of Jacob Carter
I have been working on my Carter / Boatright family history since 2008. I am only human and I do my
best to prove dates and relationships. When I first started genealogy, like so many others, I did
not realize the importance of documentation; I do now. I have many copies of obits, death
certificates, funeral records, cemetery records and pension papers so if you are in need, just ask.
I am more than happy to share anything I have. If you find a mistake or have a question, please e-
mail me and we can discuss it. I am here for the fun, excitment, knowledge and just to learn about
my families histories. The latest updates that were made were on the South Carolina members of this
family. I would like to Thank Linda Carter Smith, John Leon Carter and Bill Corbin for the many
obituaries and family documents that they have provided to me.
PLEASE if you have any corrections or additions just send me an e-mail at time4tam66@tampabay.rr.com
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE AN E-MAIL ADDRESS FOR ME TO CONTACT YOU. MANY PEOPLE HAVE SIGNED MY
GUEST BOOK AND HAVE ASKED ME QUESTIONS THAT I CAN NOT ANSWER BECAUSE THEY DO NOT LEAVE THEIR E-MAIL
ADDRESS.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
